Bombshell Michelle
Best Decade Anniversary Gift Ever!
by Bombshell Guest Blogger: Michelle <3
It all started when I realized my 10 year wedding was coming up and I knew I
needed to wow my husband. I've thought about doing a Boudoir shoot before but
it was just that; a thought....

Then I said to myself, why not do this for my anniversary and totally surprise my husband??
After doing some research and looking at a few photographers, I found Jen at Maryland Bombshell and I knew I found who I wanted to work with, so let's start the process!
I filled out the information sheet and sent it in... now to wait.
I got an email back quickly and before I knew it we were discussing dates. Jen made it easy to set something up and worked with me as I changed dates a couple times lol.
So, the date is set and the nerves set in. So many questions and A LOT of self
doubt going through my head: "Am I going to be able to pull this off? Am I too f*t
to do this? What am I going to wear? There's no way I can do this!!"
The emails from Jen prior to my photo shoot made it easier to gather my thoughts and plan
outfits out. Fast forward to the day of my session and the nerves REALLY set in...
I asked 2 of my close friends to come with me as my "hype girls", which helped,
but I still have my doubts about my ability to be quote/unquote "sexy".

We meet Jen at her place and she's a ball of energy and sunshine which made everything easy!
I did opt for getting my hair and makeup done, and I cannot say enough nice things about the
job Cece did. I looked in the mirror and loved everything!
Now for the actual shoot itself. The girls and I head back to the studio with Jen to
go through what I brought and plan things out as far as outfits and accessories,
which was so much fun, and as we're doing this, I find myself getting excited!
So with everything planned now it's just Jen and I.

We go through if there is anything
specific poses I wanted, and I'm clueless...
She assures me that she's got me
covered, and will guide me along the way.
First outfit on, music playing (Jen recommends making a playlist, which for sure helps), time to start taking pictures.
I'm a little stiff when we first start but after a little while, and a lot of laughs, I feel more comfortable and do as much as my back allows me to do (I've had back
issues for years).
Jen was right, she showed me different poses, where to put my
hands when I felt they were looking awkward, and just made me feel
SO CONFIDENT and BEAUTIFUL!
Before I know it I'm in my last outfit and I cannot believe my time is almost up as I didn't want the shoot to end!! At this point, I feel like I've known Jen forever :)

When I'm back in my regular clothes Jen shows us couple of pictures quick
enough that I don't have time to point out any flaws I see on me. 2 weeks later I get
the proofs, and when I see the pictures it's hard to believe it is me in them!
Jen sends you a sneak peek of a couple of edited pictures, which I shared with my
friends who came with me, and they were just a blown away as I was.
Once I saw all of the edited pictures I was floored. I LOOKED HOT AF!!!!

I knew my husband would LOVE them!
When he looked through the album he would not stop smiling and well, the rest is history...

XOXO,
Bombshell Michelle
P.S. The hardest part about this whole thing was keeping this secret from my husband.
I would not trade one single thing about my experience with Jen at Maryland
Bombshell. My husband and I are looking forward to doing a couples Boudoir
